Vista-32bit & Vista-64bit on my PC. Mac OSX Leopard on my Mac  .

I generally like Vista except for one thing; file transfers. I always have issues. Sometimes its perfect, other times it just freezes Windows Explorer which is stupid. I'll always love XP. It's far more stable and easier to run than Vista. However for gaming, Vista works amazingly for me.

I recently got a Mac and I'm sold. OSX Leopard is the best OS hands down.

I eagerly await Windows 7 for my PC. As for Linux, I have never tried it.

My brother just got a new Apple MacBook Pro and that thing is sweet. The biggest thing for me is nice fast boot time, my Vista laptop takes about 60 seconds to get to the desktop but another 100 seconds before it's truly usable. My bro's new computer boots to fully usability in under a minute. For what I do, fart around on the internet and use office, it does everything I'd need it to do except be cheaper than $1,500 bucks.

Still use W95b, needed for some Dos - based special professional software that i donŽt want to replace, the W95 XP - mode unfortunately is no alternative.
The advantage - noone is still developing viruses for 95b......

Still good enough for my purpose. Have another advantage cause i use "PTS - DOS" too, this is an old (russian...!!!) DOS - operating system but supports the mouse. I have a actualized W95 stored on my second harddisk so if something kills my Windows Posted Imagei only need a few minutes to have the computer operational as i had been before.....

Well I'm getting ready to reinstall my laptop tonight with Windows 7 Beta build 7000. I have been running it in a VM for about a week now and it's VERY STABLE and VERY Fast.

What is the system you're running it on? I've heard it is less demanding on system resources than vista. I got burnt on a laptop that came with vista but can't run vista very well (only supports 2 gigs of ram). However, my laptop tears up XP.

the VM had 512mb assigned to it and it ran perfectly.

While XP may no longer be supported by Microsoft, the company still offers it for sale and has continued to offer it because of how bad Vista has been.

So I'm running Windows 7 Beta Build 7000. For all you vista haters, This is 10000000000000000000000% better and faster and stable. I have not had any issues as of yet.

Jeff, have you found any compatibility issue with Windows 7 yet?

Microsoft stated that it was trying to make Windows 7 compatible with both XP and Vista programs.

Only thing not working is Logmein. But I can live without that for now. So far My Laptop is running Faster then it was with xp or vista installed. I really like the new taskbar and the way it handles group items. I'll have to take a screenshot of it sometime.

Anyway gotta get ready for work.

So I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.5 on my Acer Aspire one. I loaned it out to someone and it came back fully hacked and full of viruses. (was running xp pro) So I said screw this and install Mac OS X on it. So far the only issue is the wifi card does not work. I ordered a different card that does work and once it arrives I will install it. I'm actually surprised at how well it runs.

Screen shot coming soon.

:)

Next on the list to covert is my Acer 9300 which is running Windows 7 RC1.
