For years I swore up and down that green was my favourite colour (yes, I'm American, so what?) but I'm liking brown these days. While it may not be as widespread or innocuous as beige, it's still a non-offensive shade and my lawn is a nice shade of it  I'm not really a fan of orange, especially since they painted my lift that colour and it really looked much better in a shade of maroon.

How orange is orange as far as lifts go? I'll stick to black for lifts.

Oh no you don't!! That lift was so ugly when it was the fading maroon. Sure orange sucks, but maroon is the worst color in the world. I think MJTurley34 will back me on this. And BTW, I agree blue is a fine color.

Skiers must have bad eye sight there. They had to paint them green so they could be seen.

If you ever went to Mt Bohemia you would understand the color scheme of their lifts. It doesn't makes sense looking at the pictures. But those colors are very appropriate for the personality of the area.

Yes let's argue, Matt  Believe it or not, that maroon wasn't faded. It was the same colour as the day the tin went up. I'm just not a fan of bright colours on lifts, which I realise is my personal preference.

That makes it even worse! Why couldn't they just have painted it a neutral grey or better yet, beige.

If you like Beige, then you must like these camouflage, multi-shade beige towers. Unfortunately, this lift no longer exists.

And I thought the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) was strict regarding the mandating of lift color schemes for resorts in the Tahoe basin!

Camo towers...that's a first for me to see.

To keep the argument going in which the thread was intended...

The towers should have been red!
