It's that time of the year again- lifts are shut down and I know there are some of you who really want to go climb up that ladder and take pictures. Please don't. For those of you who haven't read my spring warnings before, us grease monkey and sparky types tend to run lifts at random and intermittently throughout the summer. Just because a lift looks deserted doesn't mean there aren't people on the other end who may press start at any time. Don't get yourself in a bind. Feel free to take all the photos you want- from the ground and outside the terminal area.

I have never seen a sign like that before, alothough it might be a good thing to have them.

They are usually only on lift terminals near trails or base areas, but it doesn't mean that you should climb on any lifts without them.

Just use your common sense people and give the lift mechanics and techs a little more peace of mind that there aren't people on their lifts.
