Bear Valley Resort released its new master plan yesterday.

The new master plan calls for two new high-speed quads, new trails and trail improvements and several new amenities. Construction could begin as soon as next summer. The below link contains a PDF of the master plan, along with a video of the actual meeting.

It looks like the Village lift will have a slight curve about halfway up and will be over 7,000 feet long.

I don't understand the reason for upgrading Panda to a HSQ, when Kuma and Bear should be more of a priority.

there may be a misunderstanding. The plan calls for replacing super cub double( an old riblet ) with a detachable to increase capacity in the beginner terrain. The only real lift lines on a busy day are at cub and supercub. Kuma chair has a new drive, low voltage, and comline: it will be reliable for the next several years at least.

I heard Bear Valley had to "upgrade" their lift director before the season was over ?
