I have emailed the Hollyburn Historic Society about this so I hope to have more pictures on my website soon (1-2weeks). For now, you can move around the Cypress XC area on my website.

Check out the new old Hollyburn ropetow and chairlift pictures that I got from the Hollyburn Historic Society, many thanks to them! I also have a hiking map from the 1960s and it labels all the ropetows and the chairlift ect.

A couple more pics i took yesterday. (I went down the liftline from just above the first lookout. Unfortunately i didnt make it all the way down because going was difficult considering that i could find a route. There is supposed to be Tower 6 in the area, the last tower standing but i couldnt find it, anyways i did get pictures of some stuff.

Lol. Vancouverhistory.ca says:
December 1 1949 Grouse Mountain Chairlift opened, the world's first double chairlift. It replaced a two- to three-hour hike from the skiers' bus stop at the base of the mountain.
Worlds first eh, North Americas first eh? That lift sure got a lot of false press with this first lift stuff.
