Thanks for the pictures Skier. How was the skiing? In particular the trails left off the new lift like Muleskinner and the new ones.

I took lots of pictures of all their lifts. The others are South Branch, a Doppelmayr CTEC quad, Rangeley, a Mueller double with Borvig chairs and Doppelmayr CTEC terminals, Cupsuptic, an old school Hall T-Bar, and Sandy, a Hopkins double. I'll start a new topic and post them there.
The skiing was excellent, no ice and no crowds. I don't really know which trails are new but all were fun. I think America maybe is new? That one had excellent scenery. Muleskinner was the hardest one there I think. This place has approval for 5 new lifts with huge expansion potential.

America is old but it has changed a bit in recent years, it used to be a very narrow black diamond, they widened it and now its a green circle. Black Beauty and Frostbite are the new trails off Kennebago. They drop from Dazzler before you reach Muleskinner.
I personally enjoyed the old Kennebago t-bar and I'll miss riding it but the new chair will save my energy for the trails.
I'm glad they decided to keep the uphill capacity low.

Now, I actually was able to see the Independence SuperChair after terminal relocation. They had put all the chairs on the cable, but the safety bars were not yet back on nor were the gates, and they hadn't removed the side entrance in preparations for the change to in line loading.

At Northstar-at-Tahoe, the new Martis Camp Express has towers that are white on the downhill half and black on the uphill half.
I never was able to hear anything about it, but is the Northstar Martis Camp Express a rebuilt Lookout Mountain Express or something? Just PM me information if you can give me more info.
