Yeah Jeff that's what I'm now calling my FrankenAnkle. I tried to get the TSA goon at SeaTac to run the metal detector wand over my ankle to see if the alarm would go off, but my request caused his brain to go into instant overload and he said "I'm not supposed to do it, so I'm not going to do it" I guess it's not too often that somebody asks for additional security screening ?

Maybe springtime will show up about the same time I'm having my cast removed ??

My cousin has this big metal rod in her back and it's never been a problem in the airport. You shouldn't have to worry about it

My dad has metal knees, and every time he goes through security, he is pulled aside and screened a 2nd time.

It's time for an update with a newer picture:

Two in a stroller, one being carried, that looks familiar... How long did it take you to get through the zoo?

We never tried to force it too much, we would get there in the late morning and just kill the day. With a group like this it is impossible to try to see everything. That may have been the day that they had the skytram rigged for a splice. (I can't remember if it was being shortened or getting replaced). I missed Ryer by one day.
