Well, Cypress is hosting the Freestyle World Cup this weekend, as far as I can tell, it has been a disaster (this could happen during the olympics too).
I admit, I haven't been to the event, but I was at Cypress yesterday and it was raining, with poor snow (west coast cement, crud) and fog... Today, the ski report says it is 2c and snowing which I find hard to believe...

I am just wondering, why do they have to host freestyle events at Cypress, when they could do so at Whistler with much superior conditions?? Especially the olympics...

Probably because Boyne has contributed quite a bit of money to host the events at its 'leased' mountain.
