Eagle Wind
I don't think that anyone's shared pictures of Eagle Wind, so I've got plenty. As many of you know already, it's the Outrigger lift reused. The Yan tower frames are not original, although they are a pretty good copy. It uses the same stations as Outrigger with counterweight tension at the bottom and a fixed drive unit at the top. There are a few improvised two-section towers throughout the lift where they bolted two different tower tubes to each other. The terrain is okay, but it was a lot better before the lift was installed. It's a sad tradeoff between accessability and conditions. The snow is quite soft, though, and not very exposed except for the very top which is blown bare. It was definately better than the stadium stairs of Mary Jane. However, it is very nice for Vasquez Cirque, especially after being tired of a mile of skating, the last thing you need is the trackout all the way to Pioneer Express.
Technical data:
Motor: Top
Tension: Bottom
Number of Chairs: 165
Number of Towers: 20
Capacity: 1800 p/h
Speed: 500 fpm
Length: ???
Vert: 1180 feet
Time: Around 9 minutes

Panoramic Express:
Panoramic Express in my opinion was a much needed improvement. Although it has made Kinnickinnick (I hope I spelled that right
) and Jonstone Junction become skied a bit more, it has opened up some new terrain, and kept the crowd out of Parsenn Bowl. It was quite windy yesterday, and the lift was able to remain open, when Timberline would have likely been shut down. The top section can be brutal since wind is blowing right in your face due to the direction. Because of the new lift, however, Sunnyside is not used much at all. I really like this lift, and I think that it will allow the upper area to be open more often.
Technical Characteristics:
Motor: Bottom
Tension: Top
Number of Chairs: 108
Number of Towers: 24
Capacity: 2600 p/h
Speed: 1000 f/m
Length: 7224
Vert: 1642 feet
Time: 7 minutes

Please use these on skilifts.org and update the site!
ha, you wish!
I'll try to get it up soon since it shouldn't be that hard and I have DSL so I can quickly download these pictures and upload them.
It's amazing that there isn't a chair park rail at the bottom terminal of the Panoramic Express. Doesn't it get quite windy up at the top?

There are rails at both terminals. Yes it con get windy near the top, but you normally don't have to worry too much about rime buildup, so you can keep the chairs on at night.
