Believe it or not, it wasn't that bad. I waited in line at Pali for maybe 5 minutes and that was about all. Lenawee didn't have a line to speak of, and Exo looked like it had a 10-minute wait. I suppose anything looks better than the lines on the Eagle and the Flyer on said MLK weekend :devil:
The terrain back in Montezuma Bowl will be a lot of fun when they get more snow (and the visibility improves- very flat light that day). The new area also takes pressure off the front side; when I went home at 2 the lines on Pali and Exo were gone and Zuma still wasn't backing up. There's a lot more terrain now to soak people up. I skied a bit with Alan Henceroth, the GM up there, and he was all smiles about the new area. Of course, he's got reason to be- no-one else has done anything like that in the state recently. Sure, there are a few new lifts, but the rest are replacements and upgrades of existing lifts.
