I noticed that at the bottom of this lift there seem to be two lift shacks. Only one is on the other side where the chairs are going down. Did this lift used to go the other way? Or why would they have two shacks? There is a picture of it in the SKilifts Gallery.

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?

I checked out the photo (had to refresh my memory, it's been about 15 years since I last rode that lift) and while it does appear that there are two lift shacks, the older-looking one is actually an enclosed stairwell down into the vault (motor room). It looks like they wanted some natural light in there so they installed some windows.

Its just a storage shed. Back when I worked those lifts we'd stored all our poles, cones and nets for the lift line in there.

Is there another way into the motor room then?

If I remember right, the road that circles around the back of Reggies does drop and that allows direct access to the motor room.

Yep, you just walk down the hill a little, and theres a door on the side of the motor room.

I see. Several of the Riblets I've worked on had that stairwell setup; the lower door was usually buried and unusable.
