On the flip side, when else can you see such behavior in the masses? Here is the opportunity to jump in the crowd, throw some pointy elbows, and watch the old ladies shoot crusties in your direction! Behavior is fun to watch, and maybe even to make fun of, especially when so many feisty people are so emotionally involved with wracking credit.
Sounds like a science experiment to me!

Well, I guess I'm what you would call a conservative shopper. I'm willing to sacrifice my time to save money. I would have been one of the people camped out in front of Best Buy if I really wanted one of the $200 computers. It might seem odd, but it's really not that bad, plus you're saving or making $400 on how look at it. I've done this in the past and have yet to regret it.
I don't know how bad Black Friday is in other parts of the country, but it's not nearly as bad as a grand opening of a store here in Eugene, Oregon. If your curious about my experience at Best Buy, I only waited in line for 8 minutes.
