That appears to be the snowmaking crew getting their usual feud started with lift ops!

How did that long strand of snow get there? Was there a piece of rope from the chair that caused it?

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?

It was caused from water that hadn't frozen completely and a small icicle grew into a big one.

I believe that is the Snowdon Triple, near the base.

No if you look closely that is the same style poma chair which is on Canyon Quad, the one the snowmakers always love to hit as it crosses great northern. And yes, us lift ops used to LOVE the snowmakers on opening morning when we cleaned more snow off the chairs than was on the hill. Not to mention they used to BURY the glades (now north ridge) return terminal. *Sigh* How I miss it though.

Is that North Ridge then?

Nah, that would be either the Canyon Quad or the Snowdon Quad. It's hard to tell from this angle even know there is a way to tell the different chairs apart. The grips and hanger-arms on the Snowdon Quad are Yan with Poma chairs. The grips, hanger-arms and chairs on the Canyon Quad are Poma.

Right or wrong if that lift was was my responsibility, that grip would come out of service for NDT.

Wouldn't you love it if that wasn't from snowmaking?
