Hi there,
I am a Ski Resort Operations and Management (SROAM) student at Selkirk College in Nelson. One of our projects is a Technical Description of a Chairlift. My group has choosen to do this report on your new fixed grip quad chair, Silverlode. I am looking for some information on this chair. I am willing to send you a copy of this report upon completion for you to have a look at to see how we used the information you have provided.
The info I need is as follows:
The haul rope- length, lay, diameter
Towers- how many towers total,
Sheaves assemblies- how many individual sheaves, how many towers have hold down sheave assemblies, support, combination
Haulrope tensioning system, location
Drive Line- couplings, hi speed rollback, drive shaft and gear reduction components
Prime mover- manufacturer, specifications and description. Power source including motor operating voltage
Drive controller for the prime mover
Evacuation drive and method of linkage
Safety circuit- operator controls, limit switches, derailment devices
Braking systems- Service Brake, E-Brake, Anti-rollback device
Grips- type example riblet
Carriers- how many
Chairlift operator communications system
Thank you for your time and any information you can provide
