After a close look, it appears that they spelled Rainier Express wrong on both maps. They have it as Rainer Express.

Maybe they choose it for the amount of rain washington gets each year.

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?

New Whitefish Mountain Resort map. There is a new Swift Creek Express, a new Big Mountain Express and a new double chair called Elk Highlands in the bottom left corner. Anyone know anything about that lift? It looks like it is for a development. The Sunrise T-Bar has also disappeared.

Why does the Northern Pacific lift line have dashed lines?

Not sure, that is new too. I am guessing that it indicates it as a backup lift.

Here's a link to Steamboat's new trail map. They don't have a new jpeg trail map yet, but they've got a new flash map. http://www.steamboat.com/trailMap/

New Beaver Creek trail map. Flash file. All of the lifts are now normal lines, instead of dashed lines for detachables. I guess they figure that with only 4 fixed grip lifts remaining they don't really need to distinguish between the two.

It's a great map - it was based on pictures of the resort from the air this time; not an artist's version of the mountain!

I was at the Vancouver Snow Show today and I got the new Revelstoke Resort Trail Map!
Sadly, Red beat them badly, this Revelstoke map is computer rendered. But at least it shows us exactly what we will have there this winter.
Also, Seymour has added the snowshoe trails to their downhill map.
Sun Peaks has added a few new trail names to the Orient area.
I also have the Red Mountain print map in high res on my site!

I went to the Seattle ski show yesterday and was shocked to see Moonlight basin has replaced their map with a computer generated one. Lone Peak looks like crap. I don't get it, they do not even need a new map.

Here is the new Northstar map showing the new Timberline triple chair, but not the extension of Lookout Mountain Express. Anyone know anything about that?

Edit: the forum software doesn't seem to get how to link to a page with a space in it?

Wow, the forum software is really messed up right now. Looking at the link given, it has even set the target link as the one displayed one which automatically messes up the URL.

It appears that some of Zack's pictures from Northstar are used in Northstar's new Flash trail map, which is pretty cool.
