For summer time, Peruvian speeds middle, not slow neither fast, that is better than Park City Payday Lift speeds very slow (For reason because the mid-station can't slow down for people to unload.) The lift is longer than Payday or Deer Valley Silver Lake Lift, and it is very nice and enjoy riding. The lift operator let people ride on every 4th chair (The operator keeps an eye on the red stickers on every 4th chair.)

The tunnel is very nice and cool inside (about temperture 60-65). The floor or slope is not flat, just little ramp, and go up to other side.

Alot of trees were cutting and they are on the ground on line of the new lift. The view is not beautiful. I am sad  but Snowbird will clean up after Peruvian project will be completely done and it will look good beautiful.

Nice pictures! :kewlpics: I thought that Peruvian had the DT grip rather than the AG grip.

It makes sense since they have 2 Garaventa CTEC detachables.

Well, the Agamatic grip is not related to the Garaventa AK400 grip.

Right, but the Baldy Express, a Garaventa CTEC Stealth design built after the merger has the Agamatic Grip, not the Garaventa AK grip. So it makes sense that they would not intentionally introduce a third detachable grip to their resort.

Is that tunnel man-made?
- Jeff

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?

no, they used an existing mine shaft. they worked on if for two summers. they have no heaters in the tunnel, so in the winter it's a sheet of ice. another great design from snowbird.

Yes, and the AK400 and AG104's are very similar grips. (although the AG104 is a much more pleasant grip to service)

wasn't the tunnel going to have a magic carpet in it for the whole length?

It's what lift mechanics look at to identify what carrier/grip is in the terminal.
