Does anyone have summer Mtb operations, if so do you have pictures of how the bikes are loaded on the carrier. I am woking with some folks find the best and worst ways. Any input from this group would be ahuge help.

Thanks

Here's a couple pics of what we've done in the past on our YAN and Mueller. On the Mueller we sat the front wheel of the bike over the back of the carrier no modifications required except removing the restrainer bar.

Keystone does the same thing as Allan does on his Yan, on their Summit Express. Breckenridge has two hooks about 1-1.5 ft. apart attached to the back of every other chair. They hook the mid bar on the bike to the hooks. However, bikes are not loaded on chairs with people on them.

I presume they were made my M-Latta, since it made the ones for Cypress and W-B.

They used to have Mtb. at Crystal, but the last few years have not had it. When I was there a few years ago they were had a tornament and the place was packed. Does anyone know why they stopped and where the courses were?

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?

You could take bikes up Chinook, and the trails were under there. Last year they were open for sighseeing, but not bikes. I know Snoqualmie stopped doing biking because of insurance rates. The rumor was that Crystal would be bringing them back next year after the construction is done.

WP updated the carriers, see my previous post in this thread. Much easier loading and employees don't load the carrier at the base anymore, the guest does the work.
