The PC Alpine slide has changed a lot since I last rode it a couple years ago. It used to be like a water slide with plastic tobaggans you would ride and if you went too fast, you could flip out the side. Same at Jackson Hole...

What you just saw was the new Alpine coaster, not the old Alpine slide. The old slide still exsists, plus they added two new tracks to bring the total to four tracks. They close the slidet down during the winter still. The new coaster runs year round.
