Anyone know if the work has started on the Still creek basin lift? Will this be open for the start of the season, normally around Thanks Giving?

I was up there Monday. Work is underway. Tower, terminal and chair components are sitting in the parking lot next to a Doppelmayr CTEC trailer.
I drove down the mountain via the West Leg Road, which meanders through the lift construction area. The runs & liftline were cut last summer, so that work is nearly finished. As I drove by, crews were working on the bottom terminal foundation and a few of the lower tower foundations. I imagine that once the heavy construction begins in a few weeks, the West Leg Road will be closed until the snow melts again next spring.
The lift appears to serve some interesting terrain. There are a few more pitches, dips & rolls compared to the rest of Timberline's lower mountain offering. It's also slightly steeper overall down there. This lift may take a little longer to open each winter season, however, as it is the lowest-elevation lift at Timberline and there are lots of freshly-cut stumps to cover up.
If I get back up there in the next couple weeks, I'll take some pictures.

Hopefully they will grind those stumps level before they are done. Does anyone konw if there are still planning to link govy camp to timberline with a gondola and if so what is the timeline for that?

Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.
"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"
