You will enjoy Tamarack/ Mcall area. Skied Brundege the year b4 Tamarack open. Great bar in Mc Call, on the shore of the lake. Can't rmeber the name of the place, gee i wonder if was to much to drink, that i forget the name. Best of luck in the new adventur.

That area is my second favoret place in my home state of Idaho. The other being Salmon on US 93.

Augie...

I didn't get a chance to come down and redeem that free beer offer. I guess I will have to go to Tamarack one of these days.

Thought this thread was dead didn't you! So did I. Well as everyone may have heard that Tamarack is in somewhat financial dire straits. For security reasoning I have resigned my position at Tamarack Resort. My new location will be Schweitzer Resort in No. Idaho. I will be starting there on the 8th of April. I have enjoyed my time at Tamarack and will be sorry to leave and not to see the resort grow into something special. Augie

Ouch, I'm sorry to hear that Aug and it's too bad you couldn't get a job just up the road at Brundage.

Sandpoint will be nice, although the weather at Schweitzer is brutal.

I know where you came from, but I personally think the conditions are worse than Mt. Hood.

I spent the day up at Timberline on Monday and the afternoon winds kicked up the blowing snow, pretty brutal up on Magic Mile, but Jeff Flood is a nice new addition.

Aug, you still have a place at Government Camp?
