At Copper, R-Lift (1982) and S-Lift (1983) both originally came with Tirefireking's Ford 460's with turbo. Have they been replaced, liftmech?
Dino
S-Lift's 460 was going to be rebuilt in the vehicle shop in the summer of '98. It needed more than just a minor rebuild, so it was sent to Havana Machine in Aurora in August of '98. Not sure if it's still in use, it seems there was at least one of these engines around the shop area recently. Sure would be fun to drop it into a '75 F250 high boy

A lot of ski areas did. Most early rope tows were built using old cars and trucks, supported by blocks, and having no tires on the back wheel. The rope was then strung around the wheel axle. This made a really great, and extremely fast ropetow! Also, tractors and old car/truck engines were just as commonly used.

We all know that you "have an in" with the GM development team. How would they improve this lowly Ford? (beyond orange paint, of course).

Research continues, however, project managment leans toward thermal euthanasia.
