Either Monday night or early Tuesday morning, vandals set fire to lift operator shacks and damaged other buildings on the property.

Man, they've had a rough year between the vandalism that occured last fall, the ski-patroller on a snowmobile who hit a little boy, and now this incident.

Last year, someone went in there and burned a lift shack and destroyed a few snowguns.

Not to stereotype, but the local teens out there have nothing better to do. They are a bunch of white trash out in that area that are always causing problems like that. I've been involved with other organizations out there who have had problems with vandalism. For example, they keep on stealing and destroying trail markers and signage we put out there in the state rec areas.

Yeah the owner of Devil's Head also owns that resort. He lives there but comes over here once or twice a week to check up and lets just say when he came on Thursday....he wasn't very happy.
