Here's one at Burke Mountain:

I believe this one is a Hall, but I think that I have seen others in my travels.

For your information, the J-bar came before the t-bar.
There is a J-bar at Buck Hill, MN. It is my all time favorite lift at Buck Hill. The lift only runs on Friday nights, Saturdays, and the occasional busy Sunday. I love how the ski area has great old pictures of it with the dates! They have a picture of the J-bar on the first day that it ran back in the late 50's to early 60's. I'm not sure of the specific date that the lift was built, as it was a while since I saw the picture.
I'm not sure of the manufacturer of the Buck Hill J-bar. It may very likely be home built. Anyways, here are some pictures:

Number of downloads: 20

Number of downloads: 17
Sadly, this J-bar will be removed this summer when Buck Hill re-designs the area that the J-bar is in.I would like to purchase the J-bar, but I don't have enough space for it.

I think Powder Moutain Ski has three surface lifts at the top of the mountain. They are Sunrise, Saddle Horn and Tiger. I will go there next year.
I always want to ride T-bar or J-bar, and I never ride either of both lifts
. I held the tow rope (Alta Ski Resort, now Alta still have the tow ropes) and the hook rope (Park West Ski, now it is The Canyons) years ago, and I hate the tow rope because the rope pulled me, I almost fall down, and also, the rope destroyed or burned my gloves!!!
