I like mostly blue and single diamond runs, but on good powder days I'll hit doubles. I avoid diamonds (single and double) if they're icy. When I was a rookie boarder I crashed my first time down a blue run at Dodge Ridge and broke my nose and bruised my sternum! :cursing: OUCH!!! :cursing: Got too far up on my toe edge and rode it like an ice skate into a snowbank!

Terrain parks have features that are rated S/M/L/XL... I don't think they are rated with the circle, square or diamond rating system.

Areas in Quebec have to use these ratings. Parks are being more and more controlled by the governments, because people got hurt and such....

Actually I think mogul fields should be in the same category as parks, The last time I tele'd down a mogule field, instead of double black Diamond I felt it should be called a Black and Blue Diamond

Give me nice corduroy. steep, even steep steep is good but give the smooth. 53 year old knees and backs have a hard time in the bumps, at least mine do.

Yea, Mogule fields are not the best for icy days. I have the hardest time going threw them on my snowboard.

Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.

I'll second that. The only time I enjoy moguls is on alpine skis.

Hey - I didn't mean to lock up the thread.

There must be other comments on "the runs".

Once in a while I get the runs from drinking river water.
