Police is holding a checkup on the fact of an accident at "Moroznaya" ski resort in Yelizovsky Distroct, the Kamchatka Region, where a ski-lift tore off an arm of an 8-year-old boy while he was ascending by chair lift April 10, REGNUM reported.
The pupil of skiing school was ascending by chair lift. "For unknown reason the boy's arm was pressed into the cylinder, which the rope moves around. After the accident the child was immediately taken to Yelizovsky District hospital. The ski resort heads are carrying out their own investigation of the cause of the accident.
