It seems like the chairs put on the Raven Express at Wolf Creek and Hidden Lake Express at Powder Mountain are not Doppelmayr EJ, Garaventa "Vail", or CTEC chairs. They look kind of like the CTEC six pack chairs, but not really. Anyone know what the deal is?

They look like an updated EJ to me- same bail, same hanger, backrest looks a bit different but not much.

The taco is different, the side handle things are different, the top of the bail is different too. It could be though. I don't get it. They said they were getting rid of all but the Garaventa Vail chair and now they are using four different designs in the same year.

That looks more like an updated Vail carrier design than the EJ.

I guess Doppelmayr CTEC likes to experiment or something, but I prefer both the older designs.

This I think this is an updated "vail" chair. D-CTEC moved production from an outside the source to SLC. These lifts may have gotton the first SLC chairs.
