Seems like the TRPA jerks can't make up thier mind. A few days ago the gave thier blessing on the Heavenly master plan, but now some tree huggers, are crying foul. So now the plan is in limbo.

Heavenly should have had a crew ready to start cutting right when they got approval.

Gotta dig the trees out first :)
I wouldn't be surprised if once they do get full approval, that the tree huggers that struck at Vail a few years ago, will strike at Heavenly. God help them if i see them messing with any equipment.

What's wrong with making the effort to go around some trees that appear to be a rarity in that area? It makes for more work for the ski industry! And a cooler lift with an angled mid-station!

This group is crying that more dirt is being moved / disturbed BY unatural forces, ie: trucks and tractors.

If the lift ran the same green line that I drew in, it looks like it would be a better setup. However, I'm not exactly sure where the mid station is supposed to be located.
