Depends on the ice to powder ratio.....I usually ski northeast and I ski no matter what. We have never had a problem becuase we're used to ice and we go during the holiday week so there is always enough snow and ice. (Mostly ice)

I heard the army is like FPS but with better graphics.  What happens if I get lag out there? I'm DEAD!  And I heard there aren't even any respawn points out there.

so for the youngins here,( those who still at home w/ mom n dad,
Do you realize your parents have paid $$$ for flight plans, lodging, lift passes, rentals, etc, and your not going to ski in bad weather on vacation. You have just wasted hard earned $$$ your parents dished out , so they could enjoy some quality time with the famliy.
Snow, cold sun, rain, it don't matter, if i have a pass i'm skiing. I'm skiing more so if someone bought said pass for me. If i didn't use it i hate my self for wasting thier $$.

Hence my post. We have a ski area here but I've been there only 5 or so times (I live in MISSOURI) becuse we hardly ever get snow and the snow they make is horrible. So we wait for the holidays. Next year we're going to back Snowmass (last time I was there I was 4ish) I have always gone to Stowe except for that once. We have been going there for the last 5 maybe 6 years. (so since I was 8 or 9)

do u ski when the weather is miserable?

Hell - that's the only time when skiing is available. Winter.

Fine. Amend your most recent check and I'll do it.

I'll go any weather, rainy, snowy or foggy. Even if the snow is almost gone or icy. I'm an all weather snowboarder.

I like to ski when the weather is nice sunny and calm. Or I like to ski at the night and there is less crowds. If I stay at the cabin to sleep overnight. I wait until the ski resort closes at 9 p.m. My friends and I go out riding sleds or tube on the ski slope until 2 or 3 in the morning LOL. Sometimes the ski patrol or the night worker yells at us to get off the slope except they allow us to use half pipe. It was fun.

I love bad weather skiing. I like the fact that you can hit the freshies before anyone else before the clouds part. The is nothing better than getting powder run after powder run even if tyou can only see 5 feet in front of you!!!
