Ok so I am trying to figure out a few more things with Big Sky's lift history. There are a ton of relocated lifts there.

So far known:
Little Thunder came from Majestic at Brighton
Cascade came from Rendezvous at Crystal Mountain
White Otter came from Conquistador
Shedhorn came from F at Copper

Unknown:
Lone Moose, Yan triple reinstalled in 1999
Southern Comfort, Heron-Poma triple reinstalled in 1991
Challenger: Used Riblet or Superior Tramway reinstalled in 1988
Gondola Two: 4 passenger gondola reinstalled in 1983

Does anyone know where these lifts came from?

Ok, so I have been trying to figure out where Lone Moose came from. I know it was a Yan triple with the Y towerheads, so it was originally built between 1983 and 1990. So here are all those triples:

1983 Brianhead 2 Still there
1983 Copper Mtn. "S" Still there
1983 Heavenly Valley Sky Removed in 1992 Possible
1983 Northstar Schaffer Camp Removed in 1993 Possible
1983 Sunrise 6 Still there
1984 Deer Valley Mayflower Still there
1984 Keystone Teller Went to Powder mtn
1984 Keystone Santiago Removed in 1998 Possible
1984 Mt. Rose Beginner Still there
1984 Mt. Snow 7 Still there
1984 Mt. Snow 8 Removed in 1997 Possible
1985 Loveland Basin 2 Still there
1985 Mt. Snow 9 Still there
1985 Sierra-at-Tahoe 10 Still there
1985 Snow Valley 1 Still there
1985 Sundance Arrowhead Still there
1985 Sunrise 7 Still there
1986 Kirkwood 2 Still there
1990 Deer Valley Crown Point Still there
1990 Deer Valley Red Cloud Still there
1990 Deer Valley Viking Still there
1990 Kimberley Rosa Still there

Now, of the 4 possible lifts that were removed before Lone Moose was put in 1999, I think it came from Santiago at Keystone because Lone Moose has a layer of green paint on it, and the vertical and lengths are similar. Any ideas?

Skier, do you have any pictures of the bottom terminal of Lone Moose? If it's similar to the setup at Beaver Mountain for Molly's lift, it's possible it would be Santiago.

Minor change, but Teller went to Beaver Mountain, not Powder Mountain.

Also, some lifts after they were installed had the Y tower head installed.

Yeah, here is the bottom. The top is a Doppelmayr return terminal.

I received an e-mail from Big Sky today answer my questions about its relocated lifts. Here's what they had to say.

The Lone Moose triple is in fact the former Santiago lift from Keystone.

However, the only answer I got about the other three lifts (Gondola 2, Challenger and Southern Comfort) is their installation/removal dates.

I'll send Big Sky another e-mail about this subject.
