I am a Mac user, but I use Mozilla Firefox. I really like it because of the features such as tabs and my personal favorite, the spell check!

I'm so computer-illiterate I don't even know which version of IE I have  I use it because it came on my computer, works okay, and I don't have to re-learn another browser at work.

Firefox. Similar enough to IE but much more stable and friendly.
Hey liftmech - it's a free download and a no-brainer to use. You'd be doing yourself a favor to at least try it out.

Your doing better than me, I though a browser was when both eyebrows grew together. Go figure.

Personally, I have Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1, and Opera 9.10. I have long been a user of IE 6 and since a few months ago, IE7. This past week, I downloaded Opera and I like it very much for its customizability and overall looks. The downloads tab is also a cool feature. Yesterday, I downloaded Firefox for the second time (first time, it disabled my IE6 :cursing: ) but this time it cooperated. If some of you haven't heard of Opera, don't worry I heard nothing of it til last week. I have been impressed with how good Opera is considering how few people use it. I'd give it a first place for overall looks and customizability. I'm actually using it right now  . I have hardly used Firefox so I can't really say anything about it other than if you are into looks, its rather bland. IE7 has been good to me and its appearence is rather good. For now, I am a fan of the underdog, Opera. I'll vote later since I haven't used it long enough to chose.

I use IE 6 since my outdated Gateway has a hard time of running so many complex programs at the same time. Its low resource requirements make it my choice, but it could also be the reason why it's also so unstable. For example, it always crashes when I go to Facebook.com. For sites like that, I use Mozilla, but then my computer starts to lag.

As for Opera, I had to way back in the day when it first came out. It was cool since you could create your own layout on its website by uploading personal images and choosing your navigation layout and buttons. However, I got fed up with the banner ads for really dumb stuff and it slowing down my Internet connection to download them. Plus, it wasn't CSS compliant which was another issue. I was going to download the next version that came out in 2003, but Opera was charing $29.99 for it and haven't been back.

Firefox is the best browser out there. You can customize it however you want and the fasterfox extension makes pages load faster. The entire thing is written in C++ so anyone with the knowledge can make extensions or themes for it. I don't know if anyone here could do it, but a skiing theme would be very very cool.

Well, I just downloaded Opera and it seems to be pretty good! So far I really like it. I will still keep Firefox though.

Here we go again.... :temper:

I use mainly Firefox, or IE7 when I'm on a computer that doesn't have Firefox, and I don't feel like spending the time to download. I haven't had many problems with IE7 except when it says "Internet Explorer encountered a problem and needs to close" Then "Please Send Error Report". Firefox rules.

I must say what a rip off Microsoft products are. Tabs would never be invented if it weren't for Mozilla. The only original thing that IE has is the refresh button as the same thing as the go button.

Lift Kid, you can get the widgets by first pressing Widgets and then click Add Widgets. You can get the skins by clicking Tools, then click Appearence. A new window will pop up then you select Find More Skins. It is here where you can also change colours and icon sizes. There are plenty of choices and do not take long download  Enjoy
