Doppelmayr just posted their Wir magazine for last month. It has a lot of articles including one on the Peruvian Express at Snowbird.

This article lists Mike Beeley as Doppelmayr CTEC's current CEO, who was head of marketing last year. Did Jan Leonard step down from Doppelmayr CTEC?

I know it is off topic, but this is why Minnesota builds all new Dopps. Also, most of the upgrades are Dopps too. Track Inc., located in Bloomington, MN, also is the Midwest dealership of Tucker Sno-Cats. Pistenbully's dealership, Kassbohrer All Terrain Vehicles Inc., is located in Burnsville, MN. This is a reason why many ski areas here have Pistenbullys. Sorry if this is too off topic.

I love how Mike Beeley estimates on page 21 "the 8000 foot long Peruvian quad is one of the longest, if not the longest, detachable quad chairlift in America," when in their own World Book from 1996 shows the Slide Brook Express (A Dopp) being the longest at 11,022'.

Chairlift n. A transportation system found at most ski areas in which a series of chairs suspended from a cable rapidly conveys anywhere from one to eight skiers from the front of one line to the back of another.

It is the 28th longest high speed quad, around the 50th longest lift in North America.

Is it just me, or has Doppelmayr made a few mistakes in this magazine?

Yeah, they did. For Peruvian Express, they said its line speed was 2.0 m/s (fixed grip speed).

Again, this was probably put out by the marketing department, not the engineering department. If the engineers put out the magazine, it would be too boring!

Not for you nor I, apparently, as we are members of this forum.
