Do more people take the tram up or drive to the base area on the other side?

I would have thought that Sandia Peak would have replaced Chairs 1 and 3 with a HSQ by now. Those lifts look very long.

Chair 1 is the fourth longest fixed grip chair in North America, with a ride time of 14.5 minutes!

A max span of 7,700 feet. That is amazing to me.

chair one stops a lot too. since the main chairs at sandia haven't operated in a few years due to lack of snow, i can see why they're not HSQs

I know that's crazy. That lift doesn't intrest me too much.
