Brighton is open here in Utah with 6 feet of snow that dumped on them during a week of awesome storms. It will start snowing again Sunday! I think Solitude and Park City Mtn. Resort are pushing for next saturday.

You guys are lucky. Here, it is sunny, yet cold enough to snow. Whistler's Nov. 22 opening is looking iffy.

I have seen Whistler/Blackcomb go from no snow to lots of snow in a matter of days. Thats probably what they are counting on, if not that much, at least open the top and download.

It has snowed in the village a couple of weeks ago. Here in creekside there was some snow last week, and up on the alpine you can see it snowing quite frequently.

It depends on mother nature really. An ideal opening would be most of our resort...however that is not the case most years. From what I have seen, they are concentrating most on runs off of Sterling lift on Bald Mtn. and runs off of Silver Lake, Carpenter on Bald Eagle. I will keep you all updated on our status though.
