I only wish we had that here in the East right now! We're not sure that we'll make it through this week let alone our adjusted closing date of April 1st. There's a weeks worth of 70s ahead of us and this last week was nothing but 50s and 60s. Our head of grooming recently just posted on FB: "Well the fat lady hasn't sung yet, but she's certainly going to be doing a full fledged dress rehearsal tonight!"
At least you don't have this yet:

Landslide causes evacuation in The Blue Mountains
By Tracey Richardson
Updated 3 days ago
Homes were evacuated and two roads closed after a large landslide carved out a hunk of land at the Alpine Ski Club near Craigleith Ontario.
The slide happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday night and was called in by ski club employees, according to Blue Mountains deputy fire chief A.J. Lake. A couple of homes were temporarily evacuated Wednesday night. Late Thursday afternoon, at least half a dozen homes were evacuated and roads closed again after police said the landslide was "on the move again."
Muddy water was running onto Arrowhead Road late Thursday and police went door-to-door to evacuate people. Police again closed Arrowhead Crescent and Arrowhead Road.
Described as 55 to 60 feet across, the Wednesday night landslide knocked down all the trees in its path. Although a couple of homes on Arrowhead Crescent were evacuated, the slide stopped just short of their properties, Lake said. All the damage was confined to the ski club, he said.
Residents were allowed back in after a few hours. Hydro and gas crews stood by, preparing to shut off utilities. Arrowhead Road and Arrowhead Crescent were both blocked off for several hours Wednesday night.
OPP Const. Martin Hachey said the situation continues to be monitored because of thunderstorms and rain in the forecast.
"We're hoping it doesn't get any worse because we have some rain showers in the forecast overnight," he said Thursday. "We're hoping that doesn't aggravate the situation."
Hachey said visual monitoring of the escarpment is all they can do and that "there's no way of stopping it in terms of a barrier of some kind."
Martin said landslides at ski hills in the area "are not something I've heard of happening before. We're not prone to that sort of thing around here."
In a news release Thursday, the Alpine Ski Club said it's still open. On its website, the private club just south of Craigleith listed several trails and four out of five lifts as remaining open.
Lake said engineers have been checking the stability of the hill. Township officials wouldn't comment and the ski club would only confirm the landslide and that the club remains open. Blue Mountains emergency management co-ordinator Steve Conn is regularly checking on the situation, according to Lake.
When asked to describe the landslide, Lake said, "it just looks like a big pile of mud and sticks rolling down the hill."
Hachey said it "took out all the trees and any kind of brush and twigs and whatnot. Everything's out of the way."
Recent mild weather is responsible for the slide, Lake said. Runoff from the snow on the ski trails has loosened the mud on top of bedrock, which caused the slide, he said.
