Anyone else skied it yet? What are your thoughts?

Heres mine:
Photos

I only skied Symphony today because Monday I skied Blackcomb and Tuesday I did XC. Anyways, I heard from a local that he had to hike out on Sunday because Symphony was having problems, my friend also was there on sunday and he said that some people did have to hike out but he got on after they fixed the problems but supposedly there were 2 more stops while he was on the lift. (Anyone know what the problems were?) I thought the spans were pretty long..

I think that this lift/terrain is amazing. First of all, there is so much glade skiing to be had. Secondly, the runs are narrow but interesting, very unlike other runs on whistler. Thirdly, the lift has minimal wind exposure. Its not very busy right now because it is not very accessible compared to other lifts. I was one of the first people up today, I went down Burnt Stew and right where it traverses back I saw a couple people riding up so down i went! Basicly first tracks on powder! I also think the snow is much nicer than most other areas of the mountain. Down sides, some flats below burnt stew. Also, if you like real steeps, only the top is very good for you. Nice big cornice and cliff right under the chair! But if you like the best snow on Whistler and lots of glades, then this is the expansion for you. I think that a full capacity day will put this new light weight run organization plan to the test because there are only two narrow runs for a HSQ

And what was being smoked on the way up to get the "Jimi Hendrix Experience" towards the top?
I was afraid I was getting paranoid!
