The lower terminal is amost of unique design (same as bearpaw 100 feet to the right). The lift is a vault drive, and the entire drive slides and is pulled back by a hydrolic piston. I am guessing it was originally a counterweight and yan added the piston to give more space.

The lower terminal of Backside Express. I forget what year it was built, probably 94. I will check on it later. This entire terminal has northing in it except the tyres and their motor. Talk about wasted space. Not even the bullwheel is in it
