TB41 Shot. The chairs in the picture use what's called the TB-41 Detachable Grip. A standard on perhaps 100s of Poma detachable chairlifts from the late 80s? to around 1999/2000
Chairlift n. A transportation system found at most ski areas in which a series of chairs suspended from a cable rapidly conveys anywhere from one to eight skiers from the front of one line to the back of another.

81-98 was it's total lifespan.

Introduced to North America in 1985, though.

You would think the ski area would make the unloading process a little bit easier for skiers instead of having to dodge brush.

Nothing like dodging a tree in the face while you unload... Hopefully the dismantle the chair and sell them I'd buy one of those chairs.

Sorry these are a little late, but here are a few lift pictures I got from Breckenridge over President's Day weekend 2009.

Notice the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 at the bottom of the mountain.

To go tightrope walking on Cedar Point's Skyride... I'd prefer riding Raptor instead.

PCMR Town Lift was running on Thursday, July 30th. This was taken and sent to me by my brother who stopped off at Park City with his family.

This might be the last year to ride this dino..... :) Though the grape vine around here it's been said that she will not be operating for the 09-10 season but will remain in place...

Well I got word that she will be running for the 09-10 season. They spent some $ on her. Not sure if she will run 7 days a week or 4 days yet. I think there plan is to run Chair 9 7 days a week and only use 4 on busy days or if 9 is down.

However 9 does get hammered by the wind near the top.

Big Burn and Sheer Bliss 7 days a week is probably the most feasible, so that way, people from the restaurant at the bottom of Big Burn have direct access to a chairlift.
