I was looking for some information, and I can't find them. I remember I was teenager and I saw TV news and the newspapers about what happened to the cable got off the tower and it hit the tram. It killed nine people inside the tram, and some were injured. At top, the people were stuck and they were cold. I am not sure that it was Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Maybe Heavenly Valley?
Anyone know or aware of this, and will you be shared about this happened?

Didn't the old Green Valley double at Crystal have a bad derailment several years ago? I thought I heard about some kid jumping off near the top, which cause that huge span in the middle to bounce so much that one of the towers derailed.
That was a US Navy E-6B Prowler.

SQUAW VALLEY, Calif. (AP) -- It was the ski tram's last trip down the mountain at Squaw Valley Saturday, and it was loaded with vacationers. Then one of three thick cables popped off its roller and ripped through the car, killing four persons and injuring the other 30 aboard.
I have the article some place.
