I noticed your update on Sundance Ski Resort. I found this old map of Sundance that shows two lifts removed that were replaced by Ray's Lift. I couldn't find anything about what type of lifts they were.
Navajo
Mandan

It had to have been before 1995, when Ray's lift went in. They had at least 1 SLI double, built in 1969.

The topographic map I have (from 1990) has all four lifts. Ray's lift currently runs between the two lower lifts, up and over the ridge to the base of Arrowhead.

So there is some lost ski terrain at Sundance then.

Not really---maybe twenty acres at the top of 7,416, where the old lift used to go. Ray's gives access to almost all the terrain the two old lifts did.
The ski map might be from 1998--but skimaps.com (where it came from) has two maps for that year---this old one, and also one that shows the new arrangement of lifts.

Navajo was the SLI double. I have two of the chairs from that lift and am in the process of restoring them. Mandan had a different style of chairs, but I don't know what brand the lift was. I would love to know, maybe someone has a picture of it.

Both these lifts were before my time, as well as half the people in the forum. As far as I know, nobody in the forum skis Sundance but me. Sundance skiers out there?
