I like Le massif because of the incredible vertical and the base to top High Speed Quads. The lift system really gives you a lot of time to ski and not be waiting in long line ups or going up a slower fixed grip lift. I really like how the runsares layed out although I am sure they could add many more intermediate and advanced runs without an issue.
The Charleviox race run is absolutely amaizing. That run is so steep (up to 64%), so wide, and so long (2,500 vertical feet) and other runs never cross it. I remember bombing the bottom halves of some of the steepest sections and carving at such high speeds. That run made me feel like a racer.
It was icy the one day I was there, but that made it all the more challenging.
If anyone is going on a vacation to Quebec City, I strongly recommend you take the 1 - 1.5 hour drive to ski at Le Massif. It is an awesome resort. In my opinion, the best in the east and better than some western resorts.

As far as snow conditions, not too many of those would win a prize. I'd go for Tremblant, 1: because that's the only one I've heard of, and 2: because they've got some vertical and is of decent size (for an eastern resort.

Le Massif is the biggest ski resort in vertical east of the rockies (excluding Whiteface in New York). Le Massif has 500 more vertical feet than Mount Tremblant. Although Ive never been to Tremblant, I heard that it was overcrowded. Le Massif on the weekend during March Break had no line-ups. Thats why I picked Le Massif.
As for snow conditions, I agree. Snow is never a guaranteed thing out here.

Like I said, Tremblant's the only one I've ever heard of, and you could hardly say that I've been to Canada. If I ever ski in Quebec, I'll give Le Massif a shot.

Tremblant is my second fave. Mt. Alta in Val-David is on the top of my list, but it's the "you like it or you don't" rule. It has a very small vertical drop, it the old-schoolness of the place that makes it exceptional.
Orford is nice when the snow conditions are good. By this, I mean: not now.
Bromont would be hot too, if it wasn't that crowded. There are too many beginners there that can't make the difference between an easy trail and a difficult/expert trail. I wouldn't mind if those beginners in expert trails were responsible, but a lot of them are not and sometimes dangerous.
Sutton and Owl's Head are two place I'd like to try.
Stoneham is interesting, especially the third mountain, where some nice steep trails are. The fourth mountain has potential, but it seems that the project has been abandoned forever. Still, there's a nice abandoned Samson lift there...
Mont-Ste-Anne, Le Massif, Massif du Sud and Mont-Blanc are all places I'd try too.
