Google has just unveiled its new News Archive search engine which allows you to search for old news articles. I'm having a blast with it right now and it seems some articles go as far back as the 1950s, but some of those seem to require money to access.

That is so cool. There are articles on the Teller accident, all sorts of lift stories from Sugar Bowl, Steamboat, Wolf Creek, Jiminy Peak, Whistler, etc. There have been more lift accidents over the years than I thought.
