I noticed these detachable grips are different on the internet, and now I am very interesting to see several kinds of detachable grips...I wonder how many kinds of detachable grips they made? Do you have any pictures of them, and tell me the names of these grips?

I just share with you...I told my friends about the high speed chairlifts, the terminals and the grips, etc., some of them don't understand how it works, and I explained them then they don't get see how it works. I showed them the vise grip (tool) to grip a pencil or wire and I lock it or release it.

The vise grip almost looks like detachable grips.

Although not a complete reference for that you can see most of the Detachable grips in service by going to the Lift Identification page:

Hope this helps.
Chairlift n. A transportation system found at most ski areas in which a series of chairs suspended from a cable rapidly conveys anywhere from one to eight skiers from the front of one line to the back of another.
