Anyone know what the approximate dimensions of a 3s cabin (Doppelmayr-30 person) would be? Im trying to make a model of the Peak to Peak Gondola at Whistler for Google Earth..

Thanks in advance

Have a look at lift-world.info. There at lift-database and then click on bicable ropeways. There you find pictures of Val d'Isere and of Kitzbuehl.

I quite liked the part where the truck hauling one of the ropes up the mountain goes into the ditch. :cursing:

Not quite, we wer hauling a rope on a spool up the mountain hanging off the boom of an excavator with the dipper removed. The weight of it collapsed a culvert with a creek flowing in it.
