We haven't done this in awhile, Here are some good websites I like to visit:

Tons of old ski maps and brochures:
http://teachski.com/brochures.htm

Lots and lots of ski lift photos from the east:
http://skiphotos.fra...s.com/index.php

Tons of lift and history
http://www.coloradoskihistory.com/

Pics of basically every lift in BC Canada:
http://www.skiingbc.info/

Historical ski lift photos:
http://www.chairlift.org/

Anyone have others to add?

  • Interests:yo, my name is Christian, and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (Berkeley ....sort of) skiing is what I do best, and I love the mountains. Of course I love skilifts too, which is why I'm here. I'd like to learn more about them and maybe work in the Ski industry later on in life.<br /><br />Let it snow.

I think the owners of all those sites are signed up to skilifts.org.

skiingbc.info: WBSKI
coloradoskihistory.com: coskibum
chairlift.org: orangegondola
teachski.com: teachski (not sure, just making a connection)

I'm not sure if you have heard of it, but Skilifts.org is another popular website.

Don't forget about these site:

liftworld.info
alpinforum.com
liftski.com

The english version of that site is www.skiing-worldwide.com. It is ok, but has a lot of bad misinformation on new lifts.
