Hello, I am new to ski lifts and all aspects about them so if my question seems a little off and you need more info, please let me know. I am going to be building a mountain bike park very soon that is roughly about 3-4 thousand feet long from the top. I need a way to be able to transport up to 2 people with bikes on one chair lift with maybe 12-30 chairs. What is required for this length and type of project and how much would it roughly cost for a totally basic lift??

Thanks, Shredder111

P.S. aweosome smileys!!!!!! :pinch:

I presume your looking for a used lift since a new one probably be too much. You could contact a few ski areas like Squaw Valley, Mammoth Mountain and others to see if they have any lifts for sale. Or you could wait until next season and see what lifts are being replaced and grab a lift that's in pretty good condition and not that old.

To find out how much it would cost to install a lift, you can contact Outback Construction (outbackconstruction.com) to see how much it would cost for a lift of your desire.

However, this lift for sale in our classified area might fit your purposes.
