Nope, but Outback does since he's installing it.

Pulse Quad, Fixed triple and a surface lift....all Doppelmayr lifts built on the North side.
Mostly real estate lifts for new neighborhoods with $5-10 million dollar homes.

Holy crap, that brings Doppelmayr CTEC's total to at least 33 lifts for this summer, Leitner-Poma will build only 10. Maybe D-CTEC should be the one building a new factory? I wonder if some of the lifts will be coming from Europe again? Last year Beaver Creek's Gondola and Northstar's Chondola came from Europe.

There will be another "new" Lift for Vail.

Quote

The Little Eagle Lift (Chair 15), in the dedicated beginner area at Eagle’s Nest at the top of the gondola in LionsHead, will be replaced with a faster triple chairlift.

Probably they will relocate the old Sourdough Triple!

Apparently LPOA got a good deal from the city to move to their new location.

Gore in NY is also installing a triple for this year at their North Creek Ski Bowl area. It's not connected to the main mountain but should be for 2008-2009. From the website....

SKI BOWL START-UP
We're installing a new triple chairlift at the North Creek Ski Bowl, servicing 150' vertical feet. Look for evening activities there (and of course a terrain park with half-pipe) to add to the tubing fun!

rodo_af, I am not including the 3S in Whistler Blackcomb because it is not going to be completed for 2 years. The lifts listed will be completed this summer in time for next ski season. Mad River Glen's single chair is just a fixed grip single chairlift.

Does anyone know if the Gore triple is used or a new Doppelmayr CTEC lift?

Heavenly announced today the construction of the "Olympic Express." It appears they are not replacing the North Bowl and Olympic chairs as they had previously announced. There were environmental concerns, so they agreed to replace both, but use and angle station to avoid an old growth forest. Now it seems they are just replacing Olympic this summer. According to their blog, they just started removing chairs from the SLI lift today. I am skeptical about a December 7th opening, but we'll see.

Wow. That's going to be really short notice for the lift company. I am assuming that the new lift will be Doppelmayr CTEC.

Actually, I think they ordered the lift awhile ago for Nevada Woods, before the environmental stuff changed the project.

Dopp. better hurry up on Crystal's lift if they want to finish it for this coming season. they have spent almost two months just cutting and marking. They have about two and a half months left to finish. Will they make it?

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?

Doppelmayr has nothing to do with the installation on the Crystal project. It is being done in house by Crystal employees and a helicopter from Timberline Helicopters in Oregon. As of today, nearly all tower foundations have been dug, rebar cages made, a road built to the top, and parts are arriving. I think you are downplaying the removal of a mile long, 50 foot wide swath of trees. They say the project is on schedule and I believe them. They know a lot more about it than you or I, so let's not jump to conclusions. By the way, I will go up in the next few days and photograph the progress.
