24. Snoqualmie Pass
What book is this? Is this the "Indian trail to Interstate" book?
For WA ski history there is a very good book called "It Started
In the Mountains" by Joy Lucas that came out in the early 90s
I believe.

I only have three such books:
Squaw Valley: The First 50 Years 1949-1999 (published 1999)
The Story of Squaw Valley (published 1953)
Ski California (a guide of all the resorts in the state, published 1980)
I want to get the Mammoth and Vail and Bachelor books
How is Mountain Dreamers: Visionaries of Sierra Nevada Skiing? I wanted to get that a few years back but wasn't sure if it was worth it.

If this is the Joy Lucas that was involved in the Ski Patrol and Ski Lessons up on Snoqualmie, then she is related to me, in a round about fashion. My aunt was married to her son, Mike.

DV's book
Deer Valley
The Quest For Excellence.
Very informative, pictures galore. Nicely written.
It tells some histroy of Park City, Ut, and how 'fast Eddie' came to the area with a dream, and has seen it come true.
For those at DV you should know who Fast Eddie is. If not your gonna lose the triva contest in the Ear of the Deer.
