We'll know in March if the new gondi is a go... but right now I'm not too optimistic about that. Does anyone know where Crystal's new detach will go? East Peak or Bullion Basin, hopefully?

Bullion will be added when they get the Bullion Basin Base Area done, so my guess it would be one of the back country lifts. :) Or Quicksilver replaced with a HSQ.

I saw a 'Snorting Elk' lift listed on the plan- is that the one you're talking about?

Silver Mountain might be installing two HSQs this summer, not sure though but that's the plan. However I only know they got the OK for the base village.

There is still hope the HSQ will go up this summer at Hyak. I'm told there were Booth Creek reps from California at Hyak last weekend skiing the area both Saturday and Sunday to check it out.

Chair 17 at Mammoth is being replaced by a Express Quad. They were gonna put in a 6 seater, but the managment changed their mind.

Mount Washington, BC is installing a fixed grip quad. It will be an interesting lift because it will be 'over the top'. Get on at either side and ride up to the top. The bulk of the terrain will be on the backside.

Yep. Three million dollars. I find it amazing just how much the owners are investing in that place...only a few years ago, it was just a small local ski area.

Looks like Tamarack is a go for lifts this summer. They generated $46 million today, which will pay off their debt and install their 3 planned chairlifts, plus 2. I only thought they were installing 3 this summer, but I guess it's 5 now.

They sold all 108 of their homesites along with many condos that haven't been built yet. Price lots ranged from $230,000 to $850,000. That doesn't include a house either. YIKES.
