Just some random pics of the Warm Springs face of baldy I took last July. Not sure if the admins wanted to add this to the Sun Valley section of the gallery, but here you go. I also have a bunch of old pics of some of the removed lifts on baldy like Limelight, Warmsprings and the old Ridge lift. I've got to scan those when I have time.

The Warm Springs face from near my parents place.

Hi Limelight,

If you have some pictures of the removed lifts (or upgrades) along with some pictures of the Flying Squirrel lift, that would be awesome if you could post those. Because I pretty much have a lot of these same images on the Sun Valley, ID page that you posted, it's not really worth it to to use them.

I'll take a look, to see what I have. I should have some Flying Squirrel pics, if not, I'll plan on taking some more.

Here are some pics of the top of Elkhorn at Dollar Mountain. Does this lift run anymore? It was taken off the map, but seems maintained.

Lookout is planned to be removed and replaced with a HSQ. Talk about strange!

I guess this lift still operates, but on a limited basis. I guess it's annouced that it's open and then people will ski on over there. I presume the lack of snow and snow making on that side of Dollar Mountain prevent this lift from opening.

Im a new lift mechanic at sun valley since april and i was a lift operator for baldy and dollar mt during the winter. They actually shut elkhorn down due to lack of skiers a couple years ago (i think back in 2002 or 2003). The Elkhorn home owners association (the houses near the bottom of the lift) complained to sun valley company. So since the 2005 season we have had to open it, even when nobody use it. Plus there is a lack of snow and no snow making so it opens up during christmas week and then closes in feb. depending on snow conditions.

Here are some pics of Cold Springs. SVmech17, why do some of the quads have Yan chairs and some have new Doppelmayr chairs? There are so many old Yan chairs in the bineyard.
