Here's a picture of Silver Star's top terminal. The lift was still closed to the public when I was there yesterday.

floridaskier, you will be very laugh out loud. First thing I looked at the person on right side in the picture, and that was what I thought it is an elf and digged the snow. I finally got close to see and I laughed.

The Breck Connect Gondola has cabins all the way to the Peak 7 station. They are out of numeric sequence, but are there. I will try to get some pics and post them tomorrow AM.

 I didn't notice it before, but yeah, when you look at the thumbnail, it does look like a little elf with a pick and a pointy hat and a long beard

Every gondola I've seen has had the cabins out of numeric order (Anyone know why?). That's probably how they're going to stay

Because the law says that they can be. Chairs have to be in order for locating purposes. Gondola cabing parking systems can move them around, so they are not required to be in order.

Well, when I drove through town today, it looked like all the cabins were on and they were running it. I think it may be ready before Jan. 18, but we'll see.

I tried to get video of the gondola running today but my battery died, it appeared that they were working to adjust the door opening and closing rails on the peak 8 station.

The Bridger. They might be out of order now that there are more cars on it.

What law? You're correct that gondola parking can screw up the cabin number sequence, but I don't recall anything in the code that either requires number order for carriers or exempts gondolas from a required sequence.

John,

The tramway board did or has something in the rules about chairs being in order. it does NOT apply to gondolas or the dual loading six pack.
